Hey awesome videos. I have an s22 ultra that doesn’t even turn on after u took it to 2 repair shops. Do you think you can fix it or at least swap the chips to get my data off. Idk if the nand chip failed or something else. I have called many places and no one does what you do and most repair shops say they can’t fix it. One tried and I think messed it up more. Please help.

Apple lies about phone repair to make people buy a new phone, it happened to me, a coworker ended up fixing it for me, it just needed a new screen, this encounter at the Apple store made me have less trust and I found it unethical. I’m in the Apple ecosystem but I will decide when I want to upgrade and it won’t be based on the lies of an Apple employee

I can never get the solder to melt before the part does. Not so much these FPC connectors, but ZIF connectors. Even if I put the part in the oven. Even with 138C paste

Unfortunately I bought the n°02, on blackview Italy and on Amazon, and both after doing the speaker cleanliness test on the settings, destroyed the speakers. Big manufacturing defect, To be solved, I'm waiting for refunds and explanations if they can solve the problem, greetings Federico

soldering the connectors with hot air makes it way more quicker

Mine drained it's battery completely while charging and now won't even show signs of life when a lightning cable is plugged in so I reckon I'll give this a go. Thanks!

Could you shoot a temp gun at what your heating and commentate at what temp each part is at while you do different things. Hearing 400 heat at 65 air means little as we all use different equipment. I feel as though I'm always a bit shy to heat too much but would be good to know surface temps from the pro.

Im guessing you do other work for money? Surely repairs slowing down because of obvious reasons. With cloud backups becoming popular and phones cheap as chips I'm amazed.

I got one where back came off real easy and no other evidence to suggest its been opened. Think glue just degraded. I'm trying to replace s5200 but keep getting short show after soldering aliexpress replacement chip in place. Am I crap at soldering or many s5200 faulty reballs chips from Ali being sold?

Have you ever worked on iPhone SE 3 ? I have one at home that has the following faults : -Bootloops when plugged in, doesn't charge but gets the initial input to boot the phone -No speaker -No microphone It does charge wirelessly These are all connected near the bottom of the motherboard I reckon, perhaps it's a common fault but I couldn't find any info on it also, iPhone SE 2 is no similar it could probably have the same faults and fixes Oh, and amazing video. I did like and subscribe

man i hope the shop i brought my phone too doesnt do this.... theey tested my s22 ultra and said the board boots up so all it needs are the fpc connectors repalced but it needs both of them reeplaced and the small one fot the antenna... i hope they dont screw this up because he sounded scared about the sandwhiched board

Is there anyway i could send my s22 ultra to you to see if you can get it to turn on ? i threw the phone many time when i snapped, and it turned off.. i bought a new display and frame from samsung... and replaced it all myself which is easy to do.. but it still wont turn on... there are 2 fpc connectors and one for the antenna on the board and sub board that broke when the phone snapped in half on the frame "it snapped between the board and battery which ripped the cables off the FPC connectors", for the black ribbon cables, and the antenna cable.. and i have a local shop who will replace those fpc connectors on the board for $150 and hes confident itll get the phone to turn on But im not that dumb as ive built and worked on computers and dabled a little on circuit boards for 20 years.. just not phones.. and i still dont think an fpc connector is going to get it to boot, and i am not confident in this shop to diagnose the issue further than this... Sure with no FPC connection the screen wont come on.. the USB connection wont work.. but shouldnt the board itself still power on ? I dont think the FPC connectors have any affect on wether the main board turns on or not. the phone shut off the first time i tossed it... before i snapped it in half ... The first toss just shattered the back and front but it wasnt snapped.. and those connectors werent broken... Which leads me to think its another issue.. something from the impact of the phone being tossed shut it off. This is why im thinking im going to waste my money replacing the FPC connectors that WERENT broken when the phone shut off on the first toss. i asked if he could do something similar to what you did in this video.. and he said no which is weird considering he has the tools and stuff you do, He put my phone under the microscope and i saw the damaged FPC connections... if he can repair this kind of stuff like resoldering an FPC connector and stuff, shouldnt he be able to diagnose a no power issue by tracing the power issues like you did.. That seems simple to me, I would do it myself but i dont have the tools you do I mean the FPC connectors still have to be replaced, so i guess it isnt a "Waste" of money, but what i mean by waste is this is probably not going to get it to turn on as there is probably something else causing that issue If i didnt want my data so badly i would just get another phone, which im going to have to get here soon.. been 2 weeks without a phone and i NEED one bad... if i do the FPC connector replacement, between that and the new frame and screen i got i would have already put $300 into this phone, and what if the FPC connections still dont get it to boot then im out $300 ? Then i gatta pay another $150-300 to get that to work ? I dunno this sucks.. All because i refuse to use cloud storage... maybe i should use that on the next phont.. i shoulda had my pics backed up on my pc as well... sigh
